For those of you that don't already know, your 09-10 Board is:

And now we're going to describe what we do!

I'll start!

Hi, Im Betty Bamalam, 00.

As GRDL President I deal with the strategic direction of the league. I work to grow GRDL as an organisation, determine the long and short term goals of the league and look for ways we can improve. I am supported in this by the GRDL Board.

My day to day role in GRDL for 2010 will be Bout Production.

I'm Riff Raff Saff, I'm in charge of media and merchandise.

This means I'll be arranging all the media coverage/publicity/promotion of the league. .

The other part of my position is to handling the GRDL Merchandising.

I also assist the other board members when needed.

Hi there,
I'm Seemore Spinner and my position on the board is skater representative.
I'm a referee and also a skater in the man's team....
If you have any ideas/suggestions /improvements about GRDL let me know and i'll discuss it with the board.
If you have any trouble or any kind of problems with other skaters that need to be solved let me know and i'll try to help out as best as i can....

Im Miss Afliktion. I am the Vice president.
My role involves:

• assisting with the organisation of bouts and Derby related events
  
  Organisation of Fresh Meat training and coaching
  
  Liaising with sponsors
  
  helping with coaching full members
  
  I am also the senior First aider
  
  And will register your new derby name and number

And I'm Special Ethel I do the minutes and agendas for the meetings, collect the mail, type up policies and all that admin type stuff. I am also one of the people you can talk to if you have a worry or problem (along with Sweaty or Seemore) so please open up those channels, no need to hold it in and we will do our best to listen, support and find some resolution. I also am looking a sports grants so keep those links open. See you out there!!!! x

well hello there!....Im Mary Poppinskulls (or Pops for short).
I'm the league Treasurer so I handle the financial side of things such as...
*Accounting and Bookkeeping for the league
*Recieving cash payments for membership fees, insurance payments and merchandise purchases from members.
*Paying the bills!
*Keeping track of skaters monthly dues and encouraging members to be up to date.
*Chasing overdue fees (watch out!!)
Any money related matters can be discussed with me and we encourage skaters to notify us if they are having trouble with payments...

I’m Ruby E Raze and like Mr. Spinner I am a skater rep.

I also help out with coaching and compile the monthly GRDL newsletter (with a bit of help from my friend Junior GRDL Reporter Lois Lame).
